Director
Andrea has worked exclusively in family law for more than 14 years.
Andrea graduated from Macquarie University in Sydney with a combined Arts/Laws degree. She also has a Diploma of Legal Practice from the College of Law, has completed a Master of Laws in Applied Family Law and is an Accredited Specialist in Family Law.
Andrea has practised family law in Canberra and Sydney and is admitted as a Solicitor to the NSW Supreme Court, High Court of Australia and the ACT Supreme Court. During her time as a Solicitor, Andrea has worked in specialist family law firms both in Sydney and Canberra. She is also a qualified Independent Child’s Lawyer.
Andrea has extensive experience appearing as a Solicitor Advocate in the Family Court, Federal Magistrates Court and the ACT and NSW Courts. She is also trained in Collaborative Law and can explore non-litigation alternatives with clients in resolving their family law disputes.
Business Manager
Andrew brings 20 years of experience in various areas of management to his position as Business Manager at Evans Family Lawyers.
Prior to joining Evans Family Lawyers Andrew was a Proposal Specialist for IBM where he managed all aspects of large scale tender responses. Before working at IBM Andrew worked as an Account Manager, Production Manager, Branch Manager, QA Manager and OH&S Officer in the Printing industry for commercial printing companies in both Sydney and Canberra.
Paralegal
Sarah-Jane joined Evans Family lawyers in early February 2012 having returned from 6 months working for a property legal firm in Belfast, Northern Ireland where she prepared contracts for sale, organised settlements as well as managed files for probate.
Her previous experience includes time spent with both property and family law firms where she enjoyed liaising with clients to ensure an excellent standard of client service.
She is currently completing her LLB by correspondence with Southern Cross University and is looking forward to completing her studies in the near future.
Sarah-Jane is the Senior Conveyancing Paralegal at Evan Family Lawyers and has extensive experience in all aspects of the Conveyancing process in both the ACT and NSW.
Solicitor
Kelly is an experienced lawyer who joined our team in January 2013.
Kelly was admitted to practice law in 2002 after completing a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) / Bachelor of Law from the University of Western Sydney. She also has a Graduate Diploma from the University of Technology Sydney.
Kelly has extensive experience in both family law and criminal law. Her previous family law experience includes property settlements and parenting matters.
Kelly is an experienced advocate who has appeared in multiple jurisdictions including in New South Wales, Queensland, Western Australia, Victoria and the Australian Capital Territory. She has experience in a variety of Courts including the Federal Circuit Court, the Family Court, Magistrates Court, District Court, Children’s Court, Supreme Court and the Court of Appeal.

The following fees are standard for straightforward divorces only. Disbursements include the filing fee and serving fees. In the event that your application is defended, the fees will exceed those outlined and further work will be charged at our hourly rate. In this case, we will provide you with an estimate of fees.
